I know we have beat this horse to death, but it's time for new spark plugs, (08 Uly-16K on the clock). I have always used the original plugs, and they have worked well. I know there is always New technology, and was wondering if anyone has found the Holy Grail of spark plugs? |

Just use stock 10R12X plugs. |

NGK DCPR9EIX Iridium plugs will not foul as easily as original H-D plugs and are good for 30,000 miles +. I've used them on all my Buells (road and race) and thoroughly recommend them. |

I ran my original 10R12X plugs for 24,000 miles before I changed them. They were still working fine, as far as I could tell, but 24K seemed like a lot of miles, so I swapped them out for a new set of 10R12X's. The second set is still in the bike at only 31K. I don't know how easily they foul, as I've never fouled one. |

I'm at 16,500 on my first set. Bike was a demo bike and sat afterwards for 6 months. When I bought it it was at the dealership for over a year with 400 miles on it. Battery was dead, plugs fouled so I got new both with the bike and haven't looked back. Might change mine next year |
