Anyone know where to buy the HD-45206 crank seal tool? I called my local harley dealer and they had no idea what i was even talking about. |

Lunchbox, That is because you said BUELL ... WHERE DID YOU GET THAT TOOL NUMBER ??? The Sprocket Shaft Seal Installer is HD-42774 and goes with H-D 42579 Sprocket Bearing/Seal Installer ... "AND" of course it is used on all EVO SPORTSTER ENGINES ... |

BTW, check in the archives, a member here made a hitech seal installer from a tinker toy bit, if memory serves. And sorry, the search function on this site and I do not have a productive history, or I would gladly point you to it. |

I ended up using a old seal, some pvc pipe and the crank nut, worked like a champ. Didnt seat too deep and did a good job. gotta say i hate how the harley dealer treat us Buellers. Bastards! |

That's the real trick, just don't seat it too deeply. You should be good to go. |
