Hey Team, I'm looking for a working fuel map for an 06 Uly with a Drummer as the only mod. Would appreciate a hand up. Thanks a ton. Wild Bill |

?? ....if you mean the stock fuel maps, they're not adjusting well to the Drummer. Since adding the Drummer, the bike runs considerably hotter and rougher. I put about 100 miles on it hoping that the ECU would compensate....but it isn't helping. I did a TPS reset and checked the timing....no change. Still runs hot and rough. It really stumbles at anything under 3K rpm. I'm either going to have to find a fix or take the Drummer off. |

What I think he means is that Kevin designed the Drummer back in the days before ECMspy and other software was common place, and it was designed to work fine with the stock ECM and better with the P&A Race ECM. Needless to say, the issues you are having are normal and a result of changing the exhaust, and a proper fuel map is the only fix. I'd throw the generic P&A Race ECM map on your stock ECM and then save up the coin for the Erik Buell Racing unit. |

William, give Kevin a call and see if he will send you his personal race map. He sent them to me a couple years ago but I lost them when my laptop crashed. |

PM Kevin on the Map. It took a lot of time creating the version he has, Which seems to work more widely than expected on numinous bikes.. I formulated it 3 three ways first, then took three different bikes and did a merger to get then one I sent Kevin. He now has it as complete eeprom for each model up to 2007 (Xb12) any firmware. he also has it as fuel and timing files only. I can reformulate it for the 2008 up bikes if he request me to do so. It would only take a day or two for me to run the values. Sometimes he has me handle the emails for updating your map to be certain you get the correct file. Normally he calls or shoots me a email to send out a map to a person for him. Mike |

Mike, Kevin, Froggie, Installed the maps. Wow what a difference. Sounds like a Harley, runs like a Beemer. Thanks for saving me a grunge of hours and effort trying to tune from scratch. It's SO MUCH more fun to ride now. Best and thanks Wild Bill |

Wjcunning Out of curiosity, did Kevin send you an EEPROM (txt file) or a Fuel Map (msq file). Thanks |

He he he... Glad you Like it... Ride Like the wind... Kevin Has the Map in each way in a file I sent as buegb and bueib formats for easy transfers for him. (Just let he or I know which firmware you have to get the correct file sent. (Pipe "Drummer" required) (Also, reset your TPS on complete eeprom load. Then fetch it back out after its set and overwrite you file you got in the mail. This ensures if you make changes, you do not accidentally burn back bad tps data and forget to reset it. "Then chase you tail for issues due to a forgotten TPS reset. been their done that...lol") Kevin also has it as just the Fuel maps. However, going with just the fuel maps you’re not getting the full load with the other settings changes behind the scene that makes it work. The fuel is adjusted in more places than just the maps alone. Please note. IMO there will still be a few bikes whom have other issues, some bikes that need repaired; therefore, maps will not cure the problem and some that just need mapped entirely to that bike to work well.
