Nope....Sent an e-mail a month or two back to the address on the BTrax website....still waiting for a response. Warranty already expired anyway. Dyna, I'll be leaving the above e-mail shortly. If not, send me an e-mail at home. (in my profile)

Bomber, they disqualified all single cylinder bikes for the Buell national series this year. They were able to compete, just not allowed to win. Makes no sense since it was an Elapsed time dial in deal instead of a best time of the day event. A guy who owns a Honda Valkyrie ended up winning the final national event. Screwy, a honda owner can win the whole enchilada, yet a Buell owner isnt even allowed in. |

Psst...He won the regional event here in Milwaukee (his first time ever in B-Trax) and went all expenses paid to Las Vegas. He is a really nice guy and competed at all local (weekend events. I think he missed Uke's) B-Trax since. If you listen to his stories about Las Vegas, it was fun but all work and no play. Am looking forward to seeing him again next season. He really makes the sparks fly on that Valkyrie. However, it became obvious at Hal's when an UltraGlide decided to participate late in the game that he just didn't have the ground clearance to pick up the pace. |

I'll put Doug up against him on an Ultra! I thought the guy that won the national rode a Ducati? I could be wrong. If any of you see the Honda rider, I met him but forget him name, is it Richard? Tell him about the BattleTrax events here next year. I'd love to have him come over and do ours on the huge course we have. Ride to the edge! Dave Iowa HD/Buell (Buell Cycle Center) |

Daves...The Valkyrie owner just won the regional that was conducted here during the Milwaukee Rally. His last event of the year was the one you and Doug ran at Suburban Motors. After watching Doug do B-trax on the XBR, I can't wait to see him do it on an Ultra! He seems so smooth and vertical that I just can't imagine it being a warranty voiding activity. Sorry, you knew I just couldn't pass on that opportunity. |

Invite him to come over in April and we can have Doug take out an Ultra to see how they compare. Ride to the edge! Dave Iowa HD/Buell (Buell Cycle Center) |

If I see him, I will but...No Contest...The Ultra at Hal's spanked him big time! The Ultra was running with the slower Buells. Not to mention, I thought Doug and Craig were at Hal's. Hmmm...could be a "Senior Moment." |

Doug and Craig were at Hal's! I had to come back and sell some bikes to keep the doors open while they goofed off! Ride to the edge! Dave Iowa HD/Buell (Buell Cycle Center) |

My recollection of the B-Trax fiasco: When the 2003 National Series was first announced unofficially, it was sounding like it would be two winners from each regional event, one with the fastest time, and one with the most consistent time. It is my assumption that the decision to exclude singles was to remove the Motard contingent from the competition in order to make this a more street-bike event since them little 2-strokes rip and slip around the courses at record paces. Well, guess what, the Blasts got ousted along with the 2-strokes and motards. And guess what else, the top time factor was also eliminated and reduced to just the most consistent averaged time advancing to the next stage. And guess what else, I still don't think I hit TWO cones in the first elimination round. But hey, what do I know. There's politics in everything, and money behind it all, and somewhere someone is spending my money while wearing Jerry's jacket. Phase-3 begins soon. |

I still don't think I hit TWO cones in the first elimination round. But hey, what do I know. Considering you are our resident Knowledge Vault, you know much more than you elude to. Concerning the cones at the regional event, that was the only B-Trax event I missed this year so I don't know if you actually hit them or if it was an Act of God. If they used the same low profile cones they did at the rest of the SE Wisconsin events, you didn't have to hit them to move them. They were so light that just getting too close to them in the faster sections would cause them to shift in your wake. Personally, I feel they should be a little heavier for just this reason. Can just imagine how hectic life can be for a corner worker on a windy day. |

Well I was there for the first 2 rds of the elimination runs & Mike definetely didnt hit 2 cones. His runs were very consistent & we were even adding up his times & we had him advancing to the next rd easily. But somehow a couple folks..1 guy on a superhawk especially had some horrible runs & were way off their dial ins, yet thru some weird math going on that day advanced. |

Dyna...Thank you for clarifying that Mike has a problem with cones. LOL Mike...Not to worry. Send your time slips to HD/Buell and they may still honor your (now lapsed and very expensive) warranty. You may be very smooth and consistent but you ain't a risk to man or machine. I believe they call that being wise beyond your years.

Question...Anybody know of a place that will give a deal on storing two bikes this winter. Am hard pressed for space with two each cars, bikes, lawnmowers, snowblowers and trash cans. Damn, living alone was a lot easier! |
