my warranty is voided. that's why i'm sourcing a motor.
and i just found out i won't be able to do VIR north course on the 19'th.
a summit point course will be my next track day. |

Yah know... a few years ago I pointed out that we needed a website to post up our discussions that weren't open to the public.

Want to try and get another track day in before the end of the year. Anyone interested in hitting Summit Point Shenandoah, Sunday October 23 with TPM?
Edit: well it's looking more definite, the family wants to head up to dc on Saturday then head over to the track sat evening, camp so I'm there 1st thing in am.

Hey....
So CHKD is having a Charity Go Cart Race at the Hampton Convention Center on Saturday Oct. 8th. FRIDAY Night the 7th, there's a fund raiser. Tickets are $10 each, but once your in, your in! Complimentary Beer, Soda, Food and Fun.
Anyone interested? Michelle and I already have tickets, so we'll be there. |

Ya can't, Different local corporations and organizations have purchased the cars for $4000 each, I'm told, as the entry fee into the race. (All tax deductible I'm sure)
Our company has a car in the race, that's how I know about it. The race will consist of 2 drivers and a 4 man pit crew! Believe it or not,in true NASCAR fashion, there's supposed to be a mandatory pitstop!
Friday Night there's supposed to be a Pit Crew Competition and other fun Race related events. Music and Games to boot. That's all I know, that and free beer |

CHKD is a great organization, I won't know until Thursday or so, but sounds like a good time.
OMG Lexie just had her 13th birthday, offically a teenager. I'm hiding in the bedroom right now because there is a house full of her friends. |

Awesome day so far at summit With tpm
Froze last night in the tent. Got down to mid 30's
Second session of the day followed glen around the track for a good part of the session, when we came in he bumped me up to red group!!!  ))) |

Figured I share some pictures from the weekend.
They started running 3 groups but after the ART students got their orientation and I got bumped up, they changed it to 2 groups. I got to run with the blue guys damn they are fast, but at least they weren't lapping me-haha!! Scared the crap out of me when I dragged a peg in a left hander.
Signed up with them for next year, plan on going at least monthly between VIR and Summit.
Wow, looking at those pictures, boy is that an ugly muffler in the second picture.

Sup fellas! Mark sold his 1125CR and bought a 1198 Ducati recently. He was tired of electrical issues and sold his bike for $500 more than he paid for it. The 1198 is a 2011, shiny new and wow is it powerful. Good to see ya'll. |
