I currently have a works shock for my 95 s2, it is not sprung for my weight and I am thinking about putting a stock shock on, does anyone have a spare stock rear shock For sale?

Thanks

Why don`t you contact Works and get it sprung for your weight rather than change shocks?

yes, it probably wouldn't cost much to just purchase a spring for your weight...
you should contact AL at American Sport Bike, he can help you...

+1 on getting the Works adjusted.

What spring is in it?

It is sprung for a 170 lb rider, I am around 240. I called Works for a quote, have to wait and see what the damage will be to my wallet.

170 is a little light for me : (

Check with Al at American Sport Bike, too...he may have springs in stock.

A good place to hang a post. Or a boast. Sent my stock shock to Racetech for a heavier spring, for two-up riding. Asked them to put in their Gold Valve while they were in there. They phoned to say they couldn't do anything to improve the valving because it already had a Gold Valve in it!!

new old shock

If you sell your works shock, let me know how much? I would do the spring change. I weigh 250 plus. they did my shock with a heavier spring rate. I was up to 300 at one point, down to 250 and losing more each day. Hope to be down to 210 by the end of summer.

Sportyeric, how much did the new spring set you back at Racetech for that original (white spring) shock?
