For sale is a 2008 Buell 1125R 25th Anniversary Signature Edition. The bike is mostly stock, with only a few additions. I applied the 2010-model graphics, which basically consist of the "1125R" decals on the left and right radiator pods. Also, there are Erik Buell Racing decals on the rear tail on both sides. The exhaust tips are aftermarket parts and not only look nice but keep exhaust grime off the rear wheel and rotor as well. The rear fender eliminator kit cleans up the look of the rear of the bike and the Throttlemeister throttle lock / bar weight system makes it easy to give your wrist a rest on long rides. The photos (I have several high resolution pics that I will send you via email) show the bike with the after-market Buell touring seat installed, but the bike will be sold with the stock seat which is brand new. The touring seat will be available for sale at an additional cost. The bike has 3500 original miles and has been VERY well maintained with receipts for all the maintenance performed. ECM software is the latest flash and any recall / service bulletin work has been completed. The rear tire is brand new (less than 100 miles) and is a dual compound Michelin Pilot Road 2. I purchased the bike brand new in August of 2009, so the factory 24 month warranty just recently expired. This bike is a screamer, with more low-end torque than any rider could ever want. I loved riding it, but I no longer have room in my life (or my garage) for two motorcycles. The lucky buyer will be getting a true collector's item, complete with Erik Buell's signature that is both engraved on a plate from the factory AND written on the frame with his own hand at the 2010 Buell Homecoming in East Troy, WI. Please respond by private message only and provide me with your contact email address and I will get back to you within 24 hours (probably sooner). Asking price is $6500 and is negotiable. |
