258 miles in an hour and 45 minutes. Oh wait that was the quickest trip. Could never do it with today's traffic, plus I've wised up a bit. Longest ride is approx. 500 miles. |

I got around on a mountain bike until I got my S1. In that respect, the seat isn't so bad. Riding two up on that bike is uncomfortable, though, no matter how short the ride. Blake, you still using the skinny seat/tail on your M2? I can't image it being much better. |

995 on my old '95 XLH1200 from Wendover Utah to Tumwater WA via White Pass. Couldn't stand up when I got off the bike. Took me 18 hours as only part of it was on the Interstate. |

I've done Maryland to Daytona in 13 hours or so, more than once (family down there). Done it on the Uly and on my old FLHP. 750 miles in a day just honkin' around from MD to the BRP and back, one day on my CR. 3 days from MD, up around the U.P., to East Troy, then down through Chicago and back to MD. Two-up on the Uly (ET to MD was a single day). Basically a 3 day lap around Lake Michigan, starting and ending in Maryland Have done Buelltoberfest back home to MD in *almost* one day - blew a tire in Bristol, VA and had to lay up for the night, get a new tire in the morning. But the good side of that - it let me take the BRP and have fun on the way home, instead of slabbing it to get here quickly at night. One of these days, I need to get out west... |

on my cyclone ive done just abit over 350 miles.Just got it I will give it a long run next summer after winter rebuild. I did from virginia beach to the adirondacks NY 600 miles on an 84 softail with apehangers and straight pipes, The buell is maybe a bit more comforatable but the 2 gallon tanks slows you down. |

Ratbuell I had thought of that but I should have left the cyclone tail on it also. I changed it to a lightning seat and tail. Someone else must have changed the tank arent cyclones more that 2 gallons? After seeing these 1000 mile plus days I feel old! But I only have to do 1 more mile than the boys and Ill sleep OK! |

"258 miles in an hour and 45 minutes" That's about 147 mph average speed. I hope that was not on a public road. If so, I wouldn't brag too much about it... |

1333 miles in 25 hours (wisco to ogden utah)on my way to see fireman Jim in bonneville. S1 with a hard Corbin. The hardest thing was as I got more stiff and weary I wasnt able to stop myself from watching the miles turn over to slowly, when I was streched out like after a gas stop I can go 40-50 miles without looking at the tripmeter but as I got closer to needing fuel I would find myself constantly watching it and it damn near quit moving! That was the first day of a 8000 mile trip |

Just did a in-state Wisconsin SS1000 on a Yamaha FJR, Oct 15th. About 500 miles in cold cross/head winds, but a nice tail wind on the return leg. Little rain at the end of the ride. 1026 miles in a little over 19 hours. Used SPOT for the first time. Here's my route: http://www.spotwalla.com/tripViewer.php?id=39fc4e8 74243e8d50 |

SPOT is a GPS tracking unit. It sends a satellite signal every 10 minutes telling the SPOT site your location. It also has a button for HELP and 911. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/SPOT+-+SPOT+2+Satellit e+GPS+Messenger+-+Silver/9511012.p?id=121811679582 5&skuId=9511012&st=spot&cp=1&lp=7 I think there is also a monthly subscription fee. I borrowed one for a tryout. Probably worth it, if you take alot of trips and want people to know where you are at any point of the day. |

I just did 602 miles from White Marsh, MD to Maggie Valley, NC, two weeks ago. Not the longest, but it was ALL in rain, hail, and sleet, plus it was cold in he mountains after dark since we were already wet. It was a pretty tough ride. |
