Sorry I haven't updated in so long. It's been problem after problem with my leg/foot. I had a surgery in Nov., got an infection, cut my leg off in march, got bone infection and had another surgery 2 weeks ago. 11 surgeries so far since '09 Anyways my Garrett T-3 is rebuilt and modified. Pulled my cylinder head off yesterday and sent it to the same guy. He is putting bigger valves and seats in it as well as CNC porting the head. This thing is gonna scream!!! |

Wow! Sorry to hear about your leg. I hope things get better for you. Post up some pictures of the head. I wonder if the ports will be too big to run well NA. |

Turbo? I have an identical T25 sitting in my garage. I've been tossing around the idea of boosting it, but I'm happy where I'm at right now. I've read the CV40's can take blow-through as-is. Don't you have to pressurize the tank vent too, though? Cause if you pressurize the bowl (you're supposed to), won't that keep the fuel from gravity-filling? Oiling shouldn't be much of an issue, just tap into the existing pressure-side and route a small line to the turbo, then back to the crankcase to be scavenged. -Edit- That yellow one may have ran, but I don't see the exhaust connected to in the turbo. I doubt it would run worth a crap NA after im done with the head. We are putting larger intake and exhaust valves in it so it can flow enough air for the turbo, as well as CNC porting it. We will also be flow testing the head to get some numbers. The thing i like about my guy is he doesnt do a "general" porting job. He wants to know cam specs, application, etc before he will port them. Different applications require different porting. So if you are looking for more midrange power you would port different than a high revving all out bike. |

You could use the CV carb, and you pressurize the vent to make it work. You also have to pressurize the fuel going in and general theory is about 2-3lbs more pressure than boost. So if your running 5lbs boost you need 7-8lbs fuel pressure so it can overcome the boost and still deliver fuel. All this is null and void in my application though as im doing a custom fuel injection using a throttle body off a dirt bike and microsquirt standalone to control spark and fuel. |

You'll like my build. Ill be doing a photo intensive chronicle of everything i do and there will be a learning curve involved as well as ive never done the microsquirt conversion but ive seen it done and talked to lots of people who have done it. It would be a nice upgrade for a stocker also as i never liked the automatic choke and it always seemed like starting was an issue. Hopefully i can help some fellow BWbikers. |

We werent able to find the valve seats we needed since im using the stock head and it has tiny valves in it compared to other Harleys, Sportys, + Buells, so he took some blanks and put them in the CNC and machined out some custom ones. Next comes the valves + high lift springs. |

Its what i had laying around. My guy says itll work with my application and he is also custom building me an impeller for it so we will see when its all together *shrug* |

I've got a T25 sitting in my garage. I've tossed around the idea of putting it on mine. Too many projects though. I really look forward to your progress on this! |
