Hiya all I've a day at Cadwell Park circuit on Wednesday. I've removed Alan's fine APH pipework and fitted the boat anchor that doubles as an exhaust (to comply with the noise limit). I'm tempted to keep the Erik Buell Racing Drummer spec race ECM in place. The bike now has a K&N and is de-noided. What do you reckon? Peter |

leave it, it'll be a little on the rich side, but IMHO I think that is FAR better than the LEAN stock tune. But I would just leave it, or try both out and see what you like, takes all of a minute or 2. Jake |

i just did a track day at silverstone and had the same issue, no way was i gonna pass the noise test with this on i put the dustbin back on and kept the race ecm in place, it ran fine, kept up with a gsxr 1000 k9 in a straight line so i wasn't complaining, i'll edit the video sometime (Message edited by albert666 on September 18, 2011) |

Yep leave it in, i just came back from a 2000 mile euro trip and mine ran fine. But first job once i got back was to re-fit my APH smile maker back on. The standard exhaust looked nice and clean inside after this run, no black soot on the inside at either end, so i doubt it runs that rich at all. Certainly not rich enough to foul the plugs. |
