complete xb cometic motor gasket kit for a xb9 still sealed in plastic.

$110 retail is about $145 so save a few bucks

why xb9? I have an XB12 apart right now.. wonder which gaskets are different?

well now that i look into it a little, it seems to me that the actual buell gasket kits would work on both 9 and 12 motors(obviously if yours was new enough a few things wouldnt work because of changes like cam cover and such.

this was meant to go on my 03, but i had completely forgotten there was a buell gasket kit laying around in the garage attic.

so honestly im not sure why it wouldnt work. i just posted it up quick the other day when i had a minute and hadnt really checked into it.

there should be at least be a sheet with torque specs and such for head bolts. I know for a fact the cometic gaskets have a specific torque spec and the factory gaskets go by a spec, then turn by xx degrees

This is the factory spec'd kit also right? Im putting XB9 pistons in a 12 and I cant use the kit with the thinner base and/or head gaskets.

I know my kit didn't come with one, I followed the manual and it worked fine
