OK, throwing up my hands in disgust! I changed the oil in my Blast.... As I have for years. This time the filter gasket blew out and sprayed oil all over my shop. Well I was being cheap and used a Wally-World FRAM., so naturally, I figured I got what I paid for, and went to HD, and got a GennYouWhine Buell filter. Filled her up, screwed it on, added the correct amount to the tank, and fired the engine..... BAM! blew out the “new” filter too. Checked the filter, the base of the crankcase, breather hose, scavenge and suction lines... even tweaked the back flow ball with a small screw driver. Tried to leave the fill plug and breather plug out... same thing each time BAM! My shop looks like a haz-mat zone and I have run out of oil... any ideas? |

Only time I've ever seen that was when the old gasket/seal was left on resulting in 2 gaskets stacked up. That will blow every time. |

I would start with a pressure guage in place of the sending unit check pressure. oil pump relief valve may not be opening |
