Is there a way I can test my 02 sensor? My rear AFV is 89 my front AFV is 110. I'm going to put mega gray hightemp gasket maker sensor safe at my collector pipe where my barkers exhaust connects. I should have my ebr ECM tomorrow or so..it I don't think it will straighten out my AFV being that far apart!

something is def off there. i had a book once that told how to bench test them. it used a propane torch and a dvom i do not recall the process though.

honestly the O2's are cheap enough to be replaced without killing your checking account

There's nothing wrong with your O2 sensors. That spread is just the ecm trying to compensate for the altered fueling. It can't and will eventually throw a code. Install the race ecm and forget about it.

it's doubtful there is anything wrong with the sensors. however having the AFV's that far out of whack makes me wonder about spark plug health and injector spray patterns due to dirty/clogged injector(s).

swap in the race ecm and ride. then if you would report back the #'s if they are still that far off after riding a good bit 100+ miles then you will want to start diagnosing the root cause of the spread.

The spread is from using a stock ecm with an aftermarket exhaust. The stock ecm cannot compensate for such a large disparity in the exhaust gas flow.

Change out the ecm.

mine handles it just fine. usually floats around 107 front and 104 rear with a chopped oe can. and when i say chopped i mean directly behind the Helmholtz chamber chopped.

this ecm does more than most give credit for.

none the less he has an ecm en-route. hopefully that 'fixes' the problem but i doubt it will with a 21% spread.

He isn't the first one with a Barker to have a large spread, its just the design of that pipe. Race ECM cures all : )

Key off, hold both the toggle and mode button, turn key on. Hit the toggle button to cycle through all the nifty stuff. AFV's are near the end.

The Erik Buell Racing ECM will be in tomorrow!
This sound like the right procedure if not please correct me!
1, Disconnect the battery
2, Pull the left pod off and reinstall the new Erik Buell Racing ECM
3, Install pod and connect the battery
4, Do a TPS reset
5, Start the bike let it idle for 10 mins and ride?

Get the race ecm, disconnect the O2's and stop sweating them.. your putting to much faith in a 10.00 O2 sensor, that honestly isn;t worth a crap.

Really wan tot know the A/F ratio then you'll need to drop coins on a WBO2 setup.

BTW with my HMF the spread on my bike 99/136.... All pipes will make a Stock ECM think crazy.
