Have the parts person run PN 62120-99Y FUEL PUMP ASM ... Make sure you replace 29540-99Y FUEL PUMP FILTER ... |

I bought a new one about this time last year for my X1. Dealer did not have it in stock so they ordered it. They are kind of pricey, but not sure I would want to put a cheap electrical component in a tank of gas and connect 12 volts to it. |

Check on the casing to see if it says "made in China" ??? It is just like the FUEL PUMPS in the gas tanks of cars, "BUT" as long as the gasoline keeps the FUEL PUMP "COOL" there should not be a problem ... "BUT" on a motorcycle it could be "GREAT BALLS OF FIRE" !!! |

Some of the BMW motorcycle engines are now made in China. The good old days of made in the USA are gone. |
