Hi All, Came across this FREE download for enhanced motorcycling skills from the Norwegian arm of the Federation of European Motorcyclists' Associations. There may be some who already know all of this stuff but there maybe others, like me, who are hungry for a little extra tuition and reiteration of existing skills. Absolutely NOT wishing to insult anyones riding styles or techniques - but if you want, take a look and see what you think...it's FREE... http://www.fema-online.eu/index.php?mact=News,cntn t01,detail,0&cntnt01articleid=62&cntnt01returnid=1 5&cntnt01returnid=15 |

Very good reading. Covers a lot of ground, and is written to be very easy to understand. Worth a read, even for experienced riders...a bit more "meaty" than Code's famous "twist" series.(of which I have all of them...quite dog-eared by now.) Which reminds me that a local husband and wife team (also BadWebbers) run a "Total Control" course...it's been a while, I am a due for a tune-up class.... thanks for the post UK BUeller. I ran off a copy for a buddy who is buying his first bike this weekend and I started reading it before I gave it to him. them I made a second copy for myself to keep as a reference and refresher on the little things. |

I have had various advanced courses but still managed to squeeze something from it – in particular – anchor points which I had never been fully introduced to. Xodot - This next link may be of benefit to your newbie friend (and again can refresh some of us older ones). It’s by a UK police motorcycle rider with lots of photo’s videos etc. See our British green and pleasant - er congestion. Just remember to reverse the positioning tips for all you guy’s who ride on the wrong side of the road... http://ukgser.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=433 |
