Does anyone know the inner and (preferably) the outer diameter of the pipes running between the sound chambers inside the stock XB9 muffler? I know some of you have torn into these things. Any help is appreciated. Blackhat |

True enough, but I didn't bother to measure them. Don't know how well my eyeballs are calibrated but I think they are the same size as the actual exhaust pipe (not the pretty stainless cover). Brian might actually have the dimensions since he's opened up a few dozen so far. |

Thanks db, Just what I needed to know, cool site by the way. Easyflier, we're doing a 250' tower lighting ceremony on 19 Dec. We've been doing lots of rappeling and emplacing x-mas lights all over that thing. Starts about 1500. We'll light the tower once it's dark. Around 1800. It's actually a world class event, the school goes all out. If for some wild reason you're in the area, come see me in Bravo Company. I can get you, the wife and the kids (I'm guessing you have some) off the 34' tower. Drinks, food, Santa (Overweight SGT Airborne), you know the deal. Blackhat |

Blackhat, Sounds like it will be festive. Don't know when I'll get that way again, though I have been checking out the CPO websites and submitted my resume for a couple positions, none at Benning though. Miss the south, and access to the beach and of course the mild winters. |
