UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE! The NYS DMV in its infinite stupidity has informed me that the title for this isn't going to be mailed to me until the second week of September. Yes, it is a clear title, but this lovely state has decided that since it was an out of state titled vehicle, they're going to take some extra time to get around to issuing the new one to me. They had told me when I registered the bike that I'd have the title this week. I hate this state. Apologies to those interested. When I have the title in hand I'll update this thread. Killing me to do this, but necessity forces me to. 2001 X1 with reactor blue frame and wheels. Currently about 9k miles. Bike is in gorgeous shape, never down. Mods include: Carbon tank/frame accents. Supertrapp slip on with full disc and end cap setup. Econowinder with K&N Filter. Race mapped ecm. Modded undertail. Integrated LED tail light with sequential signals. Sylvania Ultra headlight. 12v accessory outlight. Renthal kevlar dual compound grips and bar ends. Hard to find Buell tailbag. EBC HH sintered pads. I just put on a 180-55 Pirelli Angel ST rear tire. Literally less than 500 miles on it, haven't even scrubbed it in. Oil changed in primary and engine with Amsoil synthetics. Clutch adjusted. I have all the original stock parts, excepting the exhaust, if new owner was wanting to put it back to stock. Bike is a beast, and runs like new. Asking 4000 or best reasonable offer. Just out of curiousity, does badweb's classifieds suffer from the same email spam problems that craigslist does? reason I'm asking is, I'm leery as hell about email addys from gmail and hotmail with questions like "is your buell still available?" | ||

Jdodd, you need an account on here to send an email (PM) to someone, so its not like craigslist where anybody and their mother can send you a message to try and rip you off. Being that they need an account, you can always come on here and look them up, and as long as they didn't join today and have zero posts, they probably are legit. But do expect the "is it available?" emails, as often times a post on here will sink into the archives, you will forget about it, and someone looking for a X1 will be interested. | ||

Yeah I did only sign up today, I'm trying to decide if it's worth the drive up to new York. I'm having trouble finding a good buell down here in Maryland. In the past I have only used eBay and craigs. I'll sleep on it and send you a post tomorrow. Thanks | ||

Madrahn, many apologies for wondering, I posted it on CL and had a dozen spams in a half hour  I was in Bel Air last weekend on it lawl. Small world. Yes, clear title. I'd be happy to take what ever pics you want/need to help you make a decision, it is a bit of a drive. Although I did drive to Dayton OH to get it myself. A good clean Buell is worth it. Also, this weekend is out for me if you do decide you want it, I'm going to be out of town. The following weekend should be good if you plan on coming up, I'll make sure I'm here and the bike will be ready. Also, also, I have an ECM cable I'll throw in. You'll have to get your own copy of ECMspy though, the one I have is on my laptop and that is not included. | ||

kalali i might know a guy who sells his battery cover . it`s brand new and never used. the price could be very hight because of te currency,but a lot cheaper than buying a whole x1 | ||
