Kev5n24, do you have a picture of your tankbag on? I'd like to see how the straps mount.

I want a tank bag - but I want it to come on/off super easily, as I don't want ride with it all of the time.

Do you have a picture with it off? Are the straps "quick release?"

i hear ya xywh, getting my full on M license this Friday and i want to get out of here on a comfy ass seat!! Been riding for a year,.. just finally getting around to taking the driving part of the test though, ha..
Oh and Al, can you do something to the seat to make me ride slower? Got pulled over yesterday for 110 in a 55,.. with no license,.. i talked my way out of getting a single ticket though, an all time best for me i must say!

No pics of the bag on,.. but ill work on it mayhaps. Getting the bag off to like go into a store is easy, for the tank bad i got (linked in 1st post) there are 3 clips and it pops off, 3 more clips and you can put the backpack straps on. but if you want to ride with it off, there is an under the bag anti slip thin pad type thing you would have to remove, but its got a nice velco way to do that actually now i realize, hmmm... yaaaa... and also, that pad is nice if you do take the bag, because i found you can flip it back over your seat, and if it rains your ass wont be wet, win win!

I had a solar panel tank bag on once, and it got stolen, so real nice to now be able to take my shit with me, on my back no less,.. its comfy as a backpack too,.. the hydration bladder is nice here in the desert too. Also mo-comfy to lean on when you ride, so yes id totally recommend :-)

I've yet to get a response from the manufacturer on when I can get them the bike for the final fitment/drill fixture.

But quite frankly, for the past couple weeks, I've been consumed by events that are WAY bigger for the future of American Sport Bike than this seat. Our OEM parts supply is in jeopardy, and our servers are STILL down, and when they'll be up is STILL uncertain. We haven't sold a single thing since last friday.

As far as the seat making you ride slower, I'm afraid that feature hasn't been incorporated... : )

ya that sucks you havent sold anything,.. more then willing to give you a few hundred though if you've got any kind of comfier seat. kind of wish i would have bought from that guy that PM'ed me looking to sell his now, lol.. you, or anyone like him out there? : )

Good news...The seat fit is finalized, fit at the front is improved a bit and ride reports are positive.

I'm submitting orders for the first batch of seats now. There will be few different versions of them. When I get them in (at least 2 weeks minimum to get a bunch built),I'll take some photos and upload to the web site.

Sorry it's taking so long, it isn't me. I've been pushing to get it all finished, but with all the emergencies of the past few weeks at American Sport Bike, I certainly wasn't bugging them as much as I could have been.

OK, they're finally here. I have a bunch of them, can certainly get more, first come, first served. Sorry the pictures aren't a bit better. Me, I prefer the Sport, but the Track-CF is a close second. If maximum comfort for max distance is the primary goal, then the Tech is the best choice.

the one left under the towel...

I have absolutely no idea. They're all black, they're all made of the same foam. The Tech seat has some memory foam in the pads on the top, and has the most "breathable" surface. Note that it also has the perineum channel, but the covering is stretched across it. The other three have a visible channel.

AL - nice work. i remember seeing this in passing and totally forgot...

Any pics on the bike profile (side) shot? How much additional height does it add for that cushion? I'm long legged so it all helps!

Torn between the carbon and suede with the channel. where's the gel placed (forward, mid, back) and any added heat shielding? Mine can get HOT on the 25R!
