Hi, Have been a Buell rider since 2004. Started with a Blast and, since 2006, have been riding the XB9SX. Love the Buell over any other sport bike I've ridden. Marc |

I picked up a 2003 XB9R and after only 3 days of riding I dont see getting the 370Z I bought 3 months ago back out of the garage!! I almost think about selling it......I said almost now Simply I am in love. I am in the STL area on the east side of the river so any groups that ride in the area(i saw the SLAB page) please let me know. Cant wait for my first weekend to go cruising. |

Hello everyone, I am just introducing myself. I don't have an XB yet but here in the next month or so I am planning on getting one, still looking though. I've ridden bikes my whole life and love the streetfighter look and feel. I test drove one of my friends last year. I recently been riding a GSXR 600 and sold it before i went on my deployment overseas. Yes I am over seas now but will be back in the states in a couple of months. So, any suggestions on what to look for in a XB? Currently I am wanting to buy 07-10 XB12SS because of the bigger gas tank for longer rides. By the way I am big in corvettes and spend a lot of time on the corvette forum. I drive a 1999 Corvette Coupe. Anyone else here drive a vette? Matt |

Hiya, I have a yellow 2000 M2. It was a year old Demo bike when I bought it from the dealer. I also have a 83 XLX; 99 FXDWG; and 2001 FLTR. I find I ride my M2 more than the others now, unless I am going for a 1000 mile day. Matt, I have a 2004 Mustang Cobra I drive in front of vettes, does that count? Isaac |

Just bought a '08 XB12XT, traded a Ultraclassic for it and had traded a FJR for the Ultra. So I did this in the last year and I know it sounds very confusing because it is. I found the answer to liking V twins and sport touring...Buell. I'm gonna really like this bike and some plans to add farkles for some long rides.

Hey Cody, Buell made a lowered lightning it was called XB 9/12 cg I think. The cg stands for center of gravity being lower than standard XB's. Hey Ichiro, your profile says you have an '04' 12R but your post here says you have an '04' 12S ??? You also called harley guys fags but say your bike is painted harley colors...wtf ??? |

Protoj: Screw it all the way in & make sure the engine is warm & that the bike is "upright". Chris C |

Hey bros and sisters, got an '04 XB12R as my daily rider to work about 6 weeks ago. I am in love with this machine! Eric is a brilliant engineer. I am a mechanical drafter by trade and can really appreciate the work that he and his team have done. Turning a wrench on this bike is the best, very logical and precise. To sum up my experience so far, I travel 24.4 miles round trip to work (mostly highway here in Fresno, CA not exactly Hell, but I can see it from here) and am averaging 51.2 MPG. I don't ride "spirited" just keeping up with traffic in the #2 lane. My 9 Y.O. daughter and I love this bike! It is so fun, and the ladies all seem to give me a second look. I think I need that because I can't afford a Porsche! Anyway, thanks for reading and if you have any questions, shoot me an e-mail. "Keep the rubber side down, and the smile up" Matt |

Hi all, I just bought an 1125CR and I love the machine. I owned a v-star previously and there is no comparison. In my opinion the CR is a more comfortable bike. This forum is great! I've been reading a lot of posts, and learning a lot about my machine. And the help I've received from posts was amazing. Keep the rubber side down!! |

Hi there. I'm AJ. Been living in NE San Antonio since June this year. Just picked up a Buell after being out of the bike scene for many years. Last bike was a 1988 Honda NT 650 Hawk GT. My Buell is a barely broken in 2010 1125CR with a FMF exhaust and Erik Buell Racing ECU. Only been on one ride so far (the heat is killing me here) but plan on frequent weekend outings through the cooler months. This site is awesome. I hope we can all solve the stator/rectifier and other problems together. (Message edited by alaskacr on September 13, 2011) |

Hello, Billy here I just got a 2004 Blast for my cousin for her first bike. She just finished her Basic Rider Course and her first canyon ride. Her Blast has a new set of Renthal motocross bars on and some Race Tech cartridge emulators. It's very cool to have a new riding buddy, and seeing the smile on her face is awesome! I'll be her mechanic mentor, so I look forward to getting into all the info I see here. Billy |

Hey everyone. Just got a 1999 M2 a couple of weeks ago. I've wanted a Buell since I saw a blue RS1200 in Cycle World twenty years ago. Yes the M2 is blue! I'm not to sharp on Buells yet, but I know my way around electricity/electronics if I can ever lend a hand. The M2 blows away the 2004 HD FXDI I sold earlier this year. |

Welcome coxster! The 99 M2 is a great bike. Search around here a bit and dig up the short list of things to sort with the M2... the jobs are all easy and fairly satisfying, and pretty painless if you do them up front. Given it's a 99, many of them have probably already been done by the previous owner. |
