After decades of riding I see a pattern in myself and others, the motorcycle ownership roller coaster ride. The bike runs great and is tuned to perfection. Wheeeeeeee!!! Something happens to the bike it needs servicing. single bike owners have adrenaline withdrawals and PMS behaviour, been there done that. If the weather turns for the better adrenaline withdrawal will rage at full force for single bike owners. Go to WWW and cry the blues, thx BWB. |

I find threatening the bike with violence, if it does not run, works fairly well. |

I find owning more than one bike keeps me (slightly more) sane.. |

An 1125 definitely isn't the best bike to have as your only option... But the 08 I have is pretty reliable. |

Jules - I was pretty edgy 15 years ago when the S1 was dorting itself out and no second bike. The CR is at Latus HD getting its 12K mile valve check. The S1 erased the withdrawals. (Message edited by dannybuell on August 25, 2011) |
