So who is planning on attending this year. Team NRHS plans on running their Blast in the 650cc MP-G class and also a new Sportster this year in the 1650cc MP-G class. | ||

Unfortunately every year a few less Buells show up. Used to be the event would have at least a dozen Buells running. Now you are lucky to see 5 or 6. | ||

Totally destroyed the Buell Blasts' head and piston on the dyno Sunday. Pushed the valve pockets just a bit too close to the valves and the piston won!! Was making really good power too until it happened!! Damn  At least i have time to fix it. (Message edited by dannyd on June 28, 2011) | ||

Plan on starting the new bike tomorrow, it is using the same 80 hp engine, so break-in is not an issue. Just need a little seat time to check out the new pegs, shifter and brake pedal. We have another sponsor on board as of this week. Wicked Wear, from Hayward, California. (They make cold weather neoprene and fleeceprene masks with skulls and cool graphics on them! Other apparel, too! Check them out!) We gave them free rein to design the backs of the shirts, and Herman, the owner, came up with this sketch. We can't wait to get the shirts! (And no.. our bike doesn't look *quite* like this anymore. She's longer and lower... ) It's quite obviously an artist's rendering, but we are stoked!  | ||

Ok. We got everything setup on Saturday. Sunday, today we ran a lot of bikes thru. Hot! Then after event closed, rains came in for about 45 minutes. Big group here. Lots of Buells. I would love to see a streamliner with two 1190's. | ||
