Has anyone had any problems with the swing arm leaking oil. I have got oil around the rim, and can not tell where it is coming from. I know it is not from the transmission, because it is completely dry by the sprocket. |

I have a substance that I "think" is grease on my rear wheel. It hardened fairly well (enough that I'll have to use liquid to remove it) so I think it's grease from the wheel bearings. It seems like some sort of graphite grease. The thing is though, it ended up on only 1/3 of the inside of the wheel as if it spit it all out at the same time. I don't know if Buell puts a little more in than they need to or what but it doesn't seem to be producing any more. |

I think I had some oil on swing arm and found it came from a trans or primary vent tube just above the arm. can't remember where I traced the vent to but its no biggy, think it did it for me after a long hot ride. |

Even with the updated bearings, I usually get a little grease on the rear wheel. |

i had the same thing, actually a-lot. mine came from the vent tube; it was in the wrong spot "above the swing arm". the tube is supposed to get tucked behind the rider peg on the left side there is a spot for it. |
