5/8" 18 thread count FMT (from Fastenal) tap and die. I bought them because I cross threaded the front isolator bolt on my 09 Uly. Used once. They might make a good addition to a toolbox for someone who frequently rotates engines. Paid a bit over $40, asking $30 shipped. |

i had a hell of a time getting that bolt to thread back in after rotating the engine. either i could get that one started or the front-jug bolts, but getting both was trickey. somehow i managed. this would be a tool one wouldn't/shouldn't have to use more than once. ... maybe add it to the PayItForward and we could keep track of who has it, for when the next guy needs it ... |

That's the first I've heard of PayItForward. If no one seems to want to buy it outright I'll post it there. |

Are they made from a heat treated material. I know that the frame is aluminum but in case the tap/die was used for something else. IM interested. |
