As a current front running participant in the AMA Pro Racing Vance and Hines XR1200 series, our team, wforacingonline.com, intends to participate in this event with AMA pro rider Shawn Higbee at the controls. We are excited about the opportunity to race in front of a world TV audience numbering in the millions. As this was a late addition to the XR1200 series schedule, the team hasn't budgeted for the event. We are working hard to prepare and secure funding for the Red Bull Indy GP event. Wes, you may try contacting Southside Harley Davidson in Indianapolis. Their main competitor is sponsoring a rider this year, and I do not believe they are. They are huge racing supporters. Here's their contact info: info@southsideharley.com Phone (317) 885-5180 If you contact them, let me know. I know a bunch of the people there and I will push them to help! Huge thanks to Ryan/noone1569 and Steve/slaughter! Ryan set us up with South side H-D in Indianapolis and Steve dug out of his own personal race funds to help get Shawn out on the track! I can't thank you guys enough. Badwebbers are awesome. We are still short funds, but have enough in place to move forward and commit to the test and race. We are in the red by $2000 from our budget (thats what credit cards are for!), and Shawn has agreed to essentially race for food and/or contingency winnings. Thanks everybody for that! FYI: Southside runs Buell Parts as well. So patronizing that is a good method to support them as well. They have my xb right now for electric gremlins =( Wes: I am glad that I was able to help get some support for Shawn. He's an incredible racer and will be a sight to see at Indy. Guys, I don't know what to say.....your support has been fantastic. It is apparent that Shawn is still well thought of in the Buell circles. The support really energizes us to do whatever it takes to do well. We are very proud to be able to represent such a great group of enthusiasts. Look for a press release later this evening. we are headed to Indy Wednesday for the two day test. Also, Shawn will be signing autographs at Southside Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis Friday evening 8/26....immediately post qualifying (5pm-ish).
