The Pyronauts return to SoCal for one night only (private party the next night). So this will be your only chance this go round! Last year on a Surfin Wednesday, the Fourth of July, (hmmm, Pyronauts...4th of July...fireworks, how fitting!) these dudes rocked out Baja Cantina so energetically, they literally broke the sound barrier, and got fired! But it was a great treat to see these guys in action while it lasted. And I got it on video! Ask me about it sometime. Fri, Feb 1st The Pyronauts and Insect Surfers at Purple Orchid Tiki Lounge 221 Richmond Street, El Segundo, CA 9 pm |

That is so cool . . . I was in Carlsbad the other night and had forgotten how much I miss the area. Two guys . . . around 5:00pm . . . just came out on the sidewalk on Grand, sat up a couple amps, mics and wailed to/for anyone driving by for a couple hours. I was in the music shop (lame) across the street at the time. Awesome to see the surf guitar scene booming! |
