Hi. I have a 2006 Ulysses that I bought 500 miles ago (now has 12,000 miles). Runs great. Decided to change the oil after a short warmup, and only a pint of oil drained out of the drain (yes, I opened the filler hole for easier drainage). The oil level dipstick indicates that it's full! Have never had the oil light come on either. My guess is that the oil is not circulating or similar. Have you ever seen anything like this? Let me know your thoughts. Thank you!!!! |

Found the problem! Duh! I drained the tranny fluid, thinking it was the engine. Well, it was a little bit low, so it seems. Now the oil and tranny are draining nicely. Thank you, and sorry about the newbie fire drill. |

This is where a service manual comes in handy. |

I did exactly the same thing the first time. Now just make sure that you don't pay attention to torque specs in the manual for the plugs. According to multiple posts out here they are too high. I recommend you do a quick search as I don't remember them off the top of my head. |
