Mrbuell please share info, what pins etc you used to activate etc |

I have a PCV with dual O2 sensors and it plugs right in and I can set what rpm to activate it and how much kill time... works great. smooth seamless upshifts and I did not need to buy or make linkage. I asked Erik Buell Racing about their linkage, and was told will not work on a belt drive, so I did the best I could with what I had, Took me longer to make the bracket. |

will this affect the belt life? i don't really know anything about quickshifters but someone i spoke to a few weeks ago had one on his r1 and said he was adjusting the chain every week as it was stretching it |

Should not affect the belt life. The shift is very smooth. I have had one on my Busa for 5 years and I adjust the chain very little. over 20k on this chain. Sounds like something is wrong with your friends set up |

I did speak with dynojet a while ago at a trade stand, they showed me a piece of kit that he thought would work with the 1125 as it already has the option to install one if you háve the race ECM. I'll dig out the brochure and post up the bits he pointed out. Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can shed some more light. My mates all have plug and play QS on the gap bikes and I love riding on them with it. |

It is only 2 wires mine kills the fuel, with that you don't get the pop sound. |

Maybe I missed this, but where did you get it? Thanks, Larry |

I'd imagine killing the ignition would be better for the motor, plus I like the popping |

The bracket I made and the PCV, autotune and the shifter I got from dynojet and I made the bracket. |

What part number did you get for the Quick Shifter? Dynojet lists 2 part numbers for the Linear Push QS. |

Easy make your own, I find quick shifters on the standard shift pattern a pain, but I run all my bikes with reverse shift pattern, I find it better @ the track. Once you change you will never look back.

"but someone i spoke to a few weeks ago had one on his r1 and said he was adjusting the chain every week as it was stretching it" I think he has more problems than the quickshifter I have had an airshifter on my dragbike for several years and never TOUCHED the chain until I went to a longer arm and had to put a new chain on the bike. No problems at all. And I've not heard of any of the others I race with having to constantly adjust the chain on theirs either. just giving first hand experience with an airshifter over several years of repeated abuse |

'llI stick with STD shifting. It works for me even at trackdays. To each their own |

Does anyone have the wiring schematic to hook this up to the Erik Buell Racing Race ECM? I emailed them but haven't heard back yet. |

Same as what MrBuell has, so if someone knows what pins on the race ecm are for the QS im guessing this will work a treat ?? |

I talked with Danny at Erik Buell Racing yesterday and he said we can tie it right into the side stand plug on the left side of the bike. (Message edited by Northernyankee on August 11, 2011) |

Oh and I PM'd mrbuell yesterday and he said that he has 4-116. |

So just to clarify then ....... Buy said dyno jet linear travel kit and wire into the existing sidestand switch (as it doesn't work with the race ECM, I presume those pins are the one to use for quickshifter) and vollia ! |

I'll look when I get home which is cheaper, he has PC V so would need 4-116 to plug straight in, as I'm thinking we will be splicing to the side stand switch it won't matter, just the cheapest option. |

Don't forget you will have to bend up a bracket. Hmm I wonder if that will work with a factory ecu, Does hooking it in to the sidestand harness kill fuel? or spark? and how do you adjust the kill time? |

If you look in Tuner Pro on a stock ECM, there looks to be provisions (6-7 settings) for a shifter interrupt to cut fuel and spark. Not sure if toggling any of them does anything and if they use the same circuitry as the side stand switch or not. |

More info... Stock ECM shows "Shifter Input" set to 17. Comments say this is the "input pin". Looking at the ECM wiring diagram this pin is for the Bank Angle Sensor. Found a post below where someone from Erik Buell Racing mentioned that the Race ECM were reconfigured to move the eShift from the BAS to the side stand switch. So looks like you could go either of those routes with a Stock ECM if you know what to change. http://badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290431/ 537180.html?1265997480 |

Both the same price. Anyone in the UK with tunerpro or similar to set/adjust kill time ? |

Skntpig, I made it from bits I had lying around, shift lever is Valtermoto & shift rod is CBR600RR. |

So the way I'm reading this, the E-B-R ecm has engine kill capability programmed into it. Wire an air shift/quick module into the side stand shift and your golden |

I'm thinking so, but would like someone to confirm this ? If I recall Littlebutquick has a airshifter, but not sure he's running a race ECM, his was tuned by TM. |
