I just had a fork seal blow out and need the bike as transportation. I have a manual on order but can't wait until it arrives to replace my seals.

Can some one tell me the weight and quantity of oil to use. Also if instructions are available for seal replacement it would be greatly appreciated. These are NOT USD forks.
I've searched the postings already but have had no help.
Thanks!!!!

2000 M2 uses HD type E fork oil (HD-99884-80) and 15.96 oz. 0r 4.25" from the top (3.15" to 4.92") depending on weight.

Is the 2000 an inverted fork?

Forks are apart, seals installed and I'm ready to reassemble. How do measure the fluid with the spring and other guts installed?

Never mind, Now I remember. Remove the damper rod from the cap, install the damper rod and set the oil level!
