roadrunr, got chased off of the driveway by the rain so i worked on putting on the windscreen. i had to take off the turn signals and tweak the mounts that came with the screen and then it went right on. drilled out the portion that was covering half of the turn signal holes and hooked them back up and everything was cool. slit a short piece of rubber hose to put between the master cylinder and the screen. did not get out to check it out but it looks like it ought to do the job. did you try your windscreen on for fit? later. |

Hey guys just wanted to say hello after a long hiatus. I am now working for Stubbs cycles as a service writer. Other than the long commute I really like it here. Much better and more relaxed than Republic. Anyways hope everyone is doing well and I will be back riding within the next month hopefully. I have a deposit down on a new BLACK 12R. Just have to get one in. Ya'll look me up if you get the chance |

i might be able to make a short ride. took off the afternoon of the 30th to go surfing for my b-day and got a little backed up at work. also received a flyer and a key from mancuso in the mail. am supposed to take it to the 610 store and try it in a lock to see if i win a new harley and then take it to the 290 store and try again. might as well, someone has to win! what time and where will you meet to ride?

well, count me out also. i wen't to both mancuso locations to try to win a motorcycle. did not have the lucky key. did eat bbq a both places. also took a xb12r out for about 35 minutes. nice and smooth power but just a little too much bend in the old knees. hard on the wrists on the slow roads. then i rode a dyna lowrider. smooth engine, great shifting trans and almost no front brake! only way i could get comfy was to hook my heels on the passenger pegs. guess i 'm just too used to the sportbike position. anyhoo, that put me behind in work so i'm stuck inside tomorrow. if i have'nt put you to sleep by now, later. |

anybody ever ride down through galveston and down 124 to winnie.theres a lotta curvy roads that lead back into houston.not too much traffic and a lotta nice places to eat or drink a beer.but only 1!e-mail me if anyone plans on gettin down this way. |
