I'm getting near my 12,000 mile service. I have recently installed a Barkers exhaust and Erik Buell Racing ECM. Will they reflash the ECM for any reason during a 12,000 mile service? Should I just put the stock one back in? thanks. |

Stock is theirs, they only want to see their product. A third party part will void their responsibility for any functionality within that parts range of influence. 100% stock is the rule for any dealer service. |

I would put the stock ECM back on. Just in case. |

It only makes sense to raise as few questions as possible when your machine goes to the dealer. |

If it's your first trip to this dealer, make it easy on yourself and return the bike to as near stock as practical. The fewer excuses for a shop to be able to make, the better. If you have already built a good relationship with the shop, you should know where you stand. Zack |
