my usual route to work has some nice twisties, it was closed in march for 'flood alleviation' work, ie raising the road, it was due to take 3 months, its only around a two mile stretch of road, it should have reopened on july 11th. last night on the local news we hear it will be shut until october because..... now its been finished and inspected, they've decided the road is now not wide enough....wtf...how did they manage to get to the end of the work without no one knowing, this country is useless, some ones head should roll for this, the diversion back roads are totally ripped up as they are country lanes and its no incentive to get the bike out...help http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisur e/floods/124750.aspx | ||

Its nice to know at least that the idiots that work in the Department of Transportation here in the US are not alone with their stupidity. | ||
