Wow, ban a product and it becomes a hot commodity !!

I'm wearing my patch regardless, I kinda like it and I don't think anyone would have the nerve to rip it off my jacket !! Will wear it above the new patch !!

I'll see what I can do for your "piece of embroidery" mike !!

And how much more is the "Signature Edition" worth in NewfieLand?

Sorry Newfie, I gave out all my patches at the 20th and never got around to getting any more. You are going to have to do business with CJ, but even at $100 Canadian, the two of you are going to make out just fine.

Koz...Great to hear from you again! Know you are busy but you need to post a little more just so we know you are alive.

So how is "Married Life" treating you? Just curious. Been there a few times and am still fascinated by the experience. Might even do it again someday. Love having someone special to share life with.

Hey Newfie, that signature looks to be under 25%

I think the first meeting I show up to in person again I may put in a petition for a vote to change the group's name to The 25%'ers. Was hard enough to get the BrewCity name approved. Would like to see how the 25%er name would go over.

Yeah but Tom,

Like I explained before,

The mother ship will NEVER find me!!!!to get it back.

One other thing - My apologies to Jerry for spelling his name wrong!!!!I hate it when people call me the wrong things too.

Actually my wife had to stop calling me asshole because my 7yr old (he was 5 at the time) called me by it one day and I answered him!!!!!OH WELL.

I still think we should simply continue to use the same patch. What are they going to do or say?

You dont need a patch to have a Brag club...it can simply be an "unofficial" patch. Not a damn thing they can do. The club should show a little backbone & not back down on this issue. They approved it, they are made & thats it end of story.

No,

I do not work for the stinkin man - Gov't.

I just absolutely LOVE this place.

The funny thing about this place is that MOST of the roads were constructed from paths that ran along the coastline. Therefore, the roads actually follow the rugged coastline with the exception of the major highway that crosses the island.

The scenery is absolutely spectacular - where else in the world can you see rugged cliffs overlooking giant icebergs while the humpback whales play in the ocean.

Well...You got me on the iceberg thing and being "brand specific" concerning the whales. LOL

Bill,

There is nothing that makes you feel so small and insignificant in this world than being in a 18ft open boat on the ocean (about half a mile from shore) and having a 30 ft whale swim by your boat about 10 ft away.

Newfie...Got the same feeling in my 28' cruiser when a Cal Gray Whale hit me while I was anchored and fishing off the headlands of Dana Point, CA.

Was just me and the two dogs. The Sheltie was cool but mad as hell. The stupid Beagle, my hunting buddy, jumped in and started swimming after the whale. Fortunately, some guys in a bowrider netted him and brought him back. Must admit he provided all the surrounding boats with a good laugh.

That was the first time I ever saw a whale. Read and heard about them before but the sheer mass is awesome. Not to mention the silence when they breach followed by the sound of them exhaling. From that point forward I spent every minute I could for the next 15 year whale watching in season.

Cal Gray's and Orca's were all that cruised the local waters on their annual migration, wish more species frequented the area but I guess I will have to settle for pics on the net and in books until I get back to sea.

Did pretty good with the sharks though. Blue, sand, hammerhead, great white, bonito/mako were frequent sightings and catches. Although, I chose to cut the line rather than gaff some of them. Size does matter when you don't have a buddy along to loop the tail and drown them.

Tis the good thing about having a boat in a slip in a year round climate. Went right from work and changed on the boat as I cruised out to sea to whale watch, fish or just take a mental health cruise. Used to get a good laugh going past the restaurants in a three piece suit and tie.

Still the only ice I ever saw was in my glass!

One time I was drunk at this dance club and a large woman waddled next to me and asked to my friend to dance. That was humbling experiance.
