Actually the one under it looks to really be a great deal! Black with a red wind screen - perfect for Maul and straight black for Vader - signals already incorporated - real slick! Now that setup has posabillities! You could always attatch the horns to your helmet! - lol - Got Thump?! Just Blasting on the Dark side! EZ |

talking to a friend who has built a custom streetfighter out of his kawasaki... real cool with fabricated tail section off a crotch rocket of some kind. Anyway he said he'd be willing to check out my bike and see if he can think of anything. What I am looking to do is either "solo" the seat or have him fabricate a cowling for the rear seat... any suggestions or ideas? |

My text fell off - again - lol - This is a very good photoshop job, That is a Force intake - I would sugest Our sponser Trojan and their CF version to save weight, the exhaust is White Brothers - the seat idea is just great, however, this one is also a posibility using the single seat option of the S1 and the S1 tale. Goodmorning. The snow is almost gone from the back of the house. only about 6"to a foot to go before I can dig the door to the basement out to get the bike out. Dropped into the local Harley dealer (75 miles away) to pick up some parts and did some browsing. as I was looking at an XB9S it appears the handle bars would go on a blast. Has anyone done this? if so comments please. Maybe I just missed the thread SAndy |

Yes - same size as supersport bars but more money - lol - a direct swap, don't forget to get new grips - the old ones will be history - no way to really save them - if you read the newest archives on this topic you'll have links to the superbike bars as well - inc. price and color selection - lol Got Thump?! Will putting crossroad handlebars(or other similar low bars) on the blast WITHOUT having rearsets make it uncomfortable for me to ride(I'm 5'10")? Getting both handlebars and rearsets at the same time is a little bit much money wise. Or should I just save and wait. Any words of advice? Blastman

Blastman, I have been riding for about a year now with lower bars and no rearsets. Seems comfortable to me, I am 6 foot even. Hope to get rear sets soon myself...Have a great day |

Personal Opinion: The S1 handlebars (or maybe superbike bars) are a much better option for stock footpegs. I don't like the Crossroads stuff at all. The angles they put on 'em KILL my wrists - but that's probably specific to my anatomy. -Saro |

Ok, we have Ezblast's pic of a XB5S (Posted on Tuesday, March 02, 2004 - 04:28 pm), but what about an XB5R? any ideas how to do it? Besides waiting for Buell to sell something we (I?) want that is...i've already got the ProSeries intake and exaust, if that helps the creative forces. |

LOL - I thought I had that covered! Well - I guess you could fab brackets for the R fairing by itself - looks a bit heavy though you could probably get a CF version and paint it black, but I have the bars and pegs at the same sitting ratio/distance - as close as I can feel from doing a lot of sitting on an R and doing some basic measurements. But my thoughts have always been 720cc nestled in an XBR chasis as an ultimate set up - time and money will tell;0) Got Thump?! Just Blasting on the Dark side! EZ |

Looking at clubman bars -- who can tell me which of these will fit best 1) Condor (Tommaselli?) 23 inch overall width, 12 inch center width 2.) Condor (Tommaselli?) 24 inch overall width, 10 inch center http://www.cosmotor.com/level_01_classicparts.htm 3.) Airtech - dimensions unknown... http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/miscpages/handlebars.html I like that first one the best... with the 12" center and the narrowest overall width... edited by naustin on May 19, 2004 edited by naustin on May 19, 2004 edited by naustin on May 19, 2004 |

The wider center usually works best as the Blast has tank clearance problems with low bars. Have you seen the Tomasselli adjustable clubmans? http://www.omarsdtr.com/cafe.html He used to carry the totally adjustable Laverdas but I no longer see them on the website. |

You can get the adjustable Tommasellis from Cosmopolitan Motors in Hatboro, PA. If I remember correctly, the wide Condor clubmans are REALLY low. You can also fit clubmans inverted which looks weird but are pretty comfortable. |

Anybody got a pic of the wide Condor Clubman installed? Does it allow the steering to lock? How low is REALLY low? The adjustable Tommasellis seem to be the general consensus as far Dollars vs. Value. edited by naustin on May 20, 2004 |

Actually its 3 lights & number plate, tight in on the forks - so less likely to damage on a drop, and ultra lite weight, comes in various colors, and is very inexpensive - and definately different look - kinda reminds me of American indian owl motifs - all in Black would be cool - or a black/red combo - always looking;0) GT - JBOTDS!
