Dave, I am still in the market for pre 99 lids. Bob needs an inner for his pup-kin. After miles and miles of me telling him that one was vibrating too much, it gave up the ghost and cracked near the mounting area. What I really need is a clean low milage S2 or S2T. |

Hope you guys had fun on the ride. We decided there wasn't enough time for a "real" ride with everything else we have going on so we went riding the back roads with my parents for a little while. Bob- I called a couple of times but I guess you don't have voice mail on your phone? Kev- get well soon. You wern't out splashing in puddles with the Duc-ie were you? |

Josh...We do have voice mail, both at home and at the orifice...I'll have to test it out...As a matter of fact, John left a couple of messages Sunday morning while I was out in the garage fooling around with Pumpkin trying to get her running right...She coded again after I washed her Saturday...Ever know a girl who didn't like to shower with you?...On the ride the check engine light stayed on and then after the gas stop in Cuba she coughed badly once, the light went out and was fine the rest of the day...Something, obviously, was real wet...Sorry you missed the ride...Believe it or not, we actually found a new road and a real beauty at that... See Ya! Bob |

Cell phone (do you check home/off for vm from the road?) 'course I would assume you have the cell on the ST pipped over the intercom, right? |

No, I have no radio/cell on the ST...I can install a CB for long rides but the distraction of an audio system caused me a problem once upon a time...And I try to use the GPS only when stopped...But I carry a cell phone and can check either office or home... See Ya! Bob |

Hey John...I just got home...Have to clean the house before Shirl gets home tomorrow...Then I'm planning on going out for Mexican...If you want to go give me a call...I heard about another good supposable authentic Mexican restaurant over on Manchester...Adjacent to a Mexican grocery store...There seems to be a pattern emerging... On a sad note an acquaintance of ours was killed on his motorcycle Saturday evening on NN highway...Visitation for Don "Snookie" Hinkle is Tuesday evening at Hilltop Chapel in Cedar Hill...The funeral is from the chapel at 0100 Wednesday...Everyone is welcomed to ride from the funeral on Wednesday to the grave site...Snookie was on the board of FORR Chapter 42 which meets in Grey Summit... See Ya! Bob

Josh, I just read your post and got a mental image of you with one of those springs in your hand, kind of sicking up with a little side to side movement. No. WAIT! At your young age, it probably is not a spring in your hand!!!! I have nothing to do today but stir the caca. |

Had a fellow in CA try to screw me with an eBay purchase once. I was smart, used an escrow service to hold the $, but it still went to hell. To make a long story short, the sympathetic escrow service told me to mail him back the item and as soon as the post office showed delivery receipt, I'd get my money back. ($300-$400) This guy was such an asshole and was trying to rip me off I turned the tables on him. I measured out 30lbs of manure and mailed that to him (insured and return receipt) with a nice friendly note expressing my anguish with his dishonest dealings. The escrow service released my money back to me. I offered the gentleman a partial refund but never heard from him again. DAve ...I said manure twice

Speaking of Ebay and screwing. Beware any item from a seller with a email address of Sbersd@aol.com. He is a scam artist for sure. I saw it coming before any monies were exchanged. Reported to Ebay. They removed his item from their site. Everyone wants what little money I have. the government, fed and state, the wife, the kids. Even some jerk I never met across the pond. |

Yo mR Money Man....if you're passing the stuff out...send some my way. We all know ya have a money tree out back anyhow. I can't find any record of what model of gloves I got JOhn. I just went to the Helimot site and they don't even list the close outs any more. Maybe if ya drop them a note, they'll still have some on closeout. Any ideas about my throttle cable prob I posted?
