Well I ordered a takeoff from Erik Buell Racing for $75 only to find out the last one had just been sold. I appreciate the fact that they called me to let me know what had happened. I bought my rear from JC Motors about 1,500 miles ago for $168 shipped. They offer the front for about $120 shipped. Anybody aware of a better deal out there? |

http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=&L2=&L3=&L4=&item=PAR_0301-0072 Corsa III front for $104, free shipping Personally, I updated to the new Corsa Rossa, then have a set of Dunlop SP's to try after that (Message edited by sprintst on July 15, 2011) |

If possible get the Corsa Rossa like Sprintst said, the Corsa III is obsolete now, the Rossa replaces it and everything I've read claims its a better tire all around. |

Sprint: Thanks for the lead on the Corsa III's, I am going to look into the Rosso's also. If we ever get a face to face the rounds are on me. |

I would avoid the Corsa III, also since it's obsolete I would wonder about the manufacture date. I have heard tires have a shelf life of two years. |

to back up Fresno "also since it's obsolete I would wonder about the manufacture date. I have heard tires have a shelf life of two years." I've heard similar things in the past. I had come across a really cheap K2 Metzler tire (80 new for a rear) and someoen pointed out to me that it was an obsolete tire, may be at or near the end of its 'life' Savign a few dollars is not worth the risk of injury. |
