My blast isn't starting like it should, it sounds like its not getting enough power when I try starting. Could this be related to overtightening the primary chain, though it still sounded like it wasn't getting a whole lot of power when the chain was loose. |

Just adjusted the idle speed and it starts easier, it also could be that I am starting it like I used to start my dirtbike, opening the throttle while starting it, yeah thats probably it. |

Try to use the throttle as little as possible to start bike. EZ |

Ok that wasn't the probably I don't think, I noticed the losing power sound was coming from the airbox and opened it and a little smoke was coming out. I put duct tape around the inside circle part so that my k&n filter would fit in, is this the problem? |

Also there is backfiring going on in or near the airbox which often causes it to stall out whilst idling. (Message edited by havina on July 14, 2011) |
