Has anyone tried to mod their Jardine license plate eliminator with this license plate light?

I am wondering if there is enough room to bend the light bracket down drill a couple of holes and bolt it to the license plate bracket?
I would like a little feed back before going down this path, from those of you who do custom clean mods!

Look at the bottom of your tail light lens and open that up. Wha-la, instant plate light.

what kind of moisture do you get in the tail light? It seems I do a bunch of rain riding and the last thing I need is condensation build up and or rusting of the tail light bulb causing future tail light issues.

This one looks MUCH better in my opinion:

The signals are tight to the plate and that look cleans up the rear.

You don't actually open the "tail light", you just trim the undertray away to let the license plate light shine onto the plate. Nothing is any more susceptible to condensation than it was from the factory.
