today i was out ripping around 611 in eastern pa and i noticed a grinding noise when in a left hand corner,,i thought it was mt foot pag, but when i got home iu noticed that the kickstand foot was all chewed up.. is that normal for a tight low corner or am i going to low in the corners??? the bike was beautiful in those corners but i am just curious about this.. |

Don't turn left... remember that 2 wrongs don't make a right but 3 rights make a left. |

Hey 01... after wasting some material it became apparent that bending 2 mirror image pieces of tubing by hand is... ummm... a major pain.. we have decided to go with a cnc tubing bender. Cough cough... first one is expensive. It will be cheaper to make more. I will keep u posted... I am getting anxious. |

Is it staying there when you go down the road? If so then yes you may need a different fix but in my case the spring was weak so everytime I hit a bump I would hear it tap the swingarm |

Side stand . . I would dump the sidestand and rest your footpeg on your helmet. . .saves unsprung weight, solves your grinding problem and saves having to carry ya lid around with ya . .and you always know where it is when you go ridin' |

Mine is scrapped down to about half the stock size. The next thing to hit on my S1 is the shifter, then the peg. I also took all of the hardware off the bottom of the mount including washers etc. I ground down the bumper a little and it seems to hit less often now. |
