Anyone have an idea how many of the 2008 R's were made. (25th Anniversary year) I know the total of the 1125R is like 5800 or so. |

I believe that is the total number of 1125r made. i.e. 2008-2010 production run. I'm asking about only the 2008 model year |

Would we consider the 25th Anniversary to be "rare" or "collectible"?? |

Since the bike was raced, yes, it may be. Have a buddy that's into antique cars and bikes, well connected. He felt my 2008 Anniversary has a good chance of being collectible since the bike was raced. |

Memorable, maybe not yet collectible. |

The number is something like 3000, I will have to dig up the old post with exact numbers. All 2008 Buells that were built except the Blast are anniversary editions, so its not anything special. There were more 08 1125Rs built than 2009 and 2010 combined, so its not the rare bike. If you want a rare Buell, get one from the late 80s/early 90's, or a 2008 STT, or pretty much any 2010 Buell. Hell, there was only a handful of 2010 1125CRs in white! |

>>>>Would we consider the 25th Anniversary to be "rare" or "collectible"?? Neither. It is however a frickin' heap o' fun. Ride the hell out of it and enjoy. |

Anyone know what the ultimate fate of the 1125R AMA Pace bikes was? Those would be really collectible. |

One of them is at the Barber museum, I don't know the fate of the rest. There is a possibility they were returned to stock and sold as demo units. |
