Kind of a PITA to get straight, but black on black hides most of my poor placement. I like it a lot - will get it mounted tomorrow and do the back when i swap tires next week.

far from little... he was damn near silver dollar sized. never stood a chance against the 3 legged kitty. I got them from Tapeworks. http://store.tapeworks.com/6015.aspx Pros and Cons - Pros: -Quality feel so far. -Good adhesive -Quick ship -One extra stripe if you mess up (i'll use mine somewhere else on the bike or helmet) Cons: -PITA to cut out each strip to install - some rim stripes come on a roll dispenser which would've been easier. This came 5 stripes in a row all on one sheet - i had to cut out each one to then install. - S/H was a bit much (9.xx on 25 order) - annoying. All in all i'm happy so far. I like that they are a bit wide (3/8"). I've got them part way into the bend of the lip on the rim - so i should have a bit of forward and back reflectivity as well. Finding the "stealth" or retroreflective stripe is a bit tougher *to find* so a premium seemed OK. plus it gets the GF a bit off my back about black / black / black (bike/gear/helmet) - though all have reflectors except helmet (tried Halo - sucks at moderate speeds). There ya have it! HTH *edited since i can't type* (Message edited by sl33py on June 29, 2011) |

Use a heat gun makes a world of difference. I had red. It looked like a tron bike, took it off after a while. The black does look very stealthy though, have some one point headlights at you from a distance at night, it will get very bright. |

Thanks MileZero5. I'll try that on the back rim. It's not that difficult, more just a PITA to cut out each strip from the sheet before installing. |

here's the strips side by side as they come packaged - PITA to cut each one out to install/apply:
