i tried to grab something off the front of my header when i was riding,i took off my gloves and bam i hit the header when red hot..just for half a second..bs that f&%kin hurt... just some random advice from a person who should have known better it is better in the pic then it was a day ago. ...

I did that with a tarp. I pulled up into my driveway and the wind blew it onto the bike.

yeah i know it was dumb,,i stopped and took my gloves off so that i would not burn them.... yeah bad idea..it does not look that bad in the pic but now holy crap there is a small hole in the hand..oh well i have learned my lesson now.. say what you want it is all good.

I kneeled down in front of an old suzuki gs450 and as i was squatting down i put my knee directly on a golden hot exhaust header. The good news was i burned it so bad i could not feel it!! So i hate to say this but it was not that bad pain wise. I have burned my calf also riding a little ninja 250. The kickstand spring came off and it started to drag so pulled off and tied it up so it wouldn't drag anymore then stepped back onto the uneven shoulder pavement which made my knee lock and put my calf onto the muffler tube. Wow that one hurt and scarred my leg for 2 yrs.
