Author Message   Jsunstar Posted on Sunday, June 26, 2011 - 10:30 pm:        my newer to me 01 M2 has a bad carb fart at 2700 rpm. whem i pull the enrichener out it stops doing it and runs better... what gives? a jet kit was put in by the previous owner cause he put a crappy automotive air cleaner on with an old supertrapp slip on with external disks. i scrapped all that and put on the complete race kit(AC, FULL EXHAUST and ECM). it runs better than it did but still farts at low RPM with little load. i didnt wanna go guessing if im gonna take the carb off so ill start here... any input is appreciated!   Road_thing Posted on Monday, June 27, 2011 - 12:34 pm:        If it runs better with the choke on, that means it's lean. I'd check for intake seal leaks, then if that's not it, pull the carb and clean out the low speed jet.
