As for the sheep comment to Steel - really? So because he's not ok with people driving in lanes not designated to drive in then hes a sheep? He's a sheep because he feels he should live a nice, legal life? I'd bet money that if someone on here posted about how they were being passed in the turning lane and they got injured somehow that everyone would be up in arms about cagers blah blah blah |

You guys read more into my post than is really true, and no personal damage has been done, but I am certain NOT an advocate of being a "sheep". I am very much of a mind that if you don't like it, work to get it changed. However, until the changes have been made, the fact is 71 MPH is over a posted speed limit of 70 MPH. BS if you get busted for 71? Yep. Revenue-generating in nature? Undoubtedly. But to have continuous denial of guilt because a law or selective enforcement is "stupid" gets no sympathy from me. |

We do need a revolution. We are buried in laws we created. Basically the majority of people are against almost everything. Except what they like. So when the majority start regulating things that aren't what they like, hey, sure enough pretty much everything gets regulated. A likes speeding, but doesn't like guns...A votes to regulate guns. B likes guns but doesn't like to drive fast, voila, B votes for more speeding laws. People need to change and allow minority opinions to be allowed. I like to drive quickly, what is it to you if I drive faster than you? For some reason we are turning into a bitter, restricting nation. We have forgotten that when everyone is policing, we get no freedoms. We are deep into this. Completely against Jefferson and the other founders of our country. |

I agree 100% Imonabuss. The way I look at life is, do whatever you want as long as you keep it to yourself. Want to blast rap music in your car? Go ahead, but have the courtesy to turn in down in residential areas. Want to own a gun? Go ahead, just don't shoot me! Speeding? Go for it, just be safe about it and don't put me in danger. Don't like your kids playing violent video games? Don't buy them! Don't make me and others that enjoy them suffer.
Obviously that can't apply to everything, but I feel it is something good to follow. |
