i just got my racing belly pan painted now i need to mount it any ideas guys and gals?? .pics of your kits or any videos would be of great assistance thanks |

Randy, go to a Home Depot, Lowes etc, buy some 1"x 1/8" aluminum flat strap. Hold your belly pan in place where you want it after cutting what you have to, to clear things like the kickstand; then look for engine, frame bolts, etc and cut & fabricate the aluminum straps to mount between those bolts and the belly pan. I like to use quick (Dzus)fastners on the fiberglass pieces to aid in easy removal. On my full fairing pictured in my profile I used three straps on each side for holding it secure. I appreciate the help. I'm hoping to have it all done by next weekend. The belly pan you posted is a lot smaller than mine and needs to be modified a bit. Thanks for the help! |
