Picked up the bike last week, I love it! Just a couple minor issues.

At least once per ride the speedo will read 0 and the tach needle will flicker for about 20 seonds then go back to normal. Is this common?

And I do have a minor clutch weep, gotta get this taken care of pretty soon? or is it ok to leave a month or two?

And where do all yal commonly leave the revs in say 3rd and 4th. Im usually around 4k-6k range

Not normal, not common. I would normally think its the speed sensor, but that would only cause the 0mph reading, not the flickering. Cluster issue?

If it is leaking slow and your clutch is fine, then don't worry about it, fix it at your leisure. Some cases were bad enough to cause the clutch to not disengage a day after refilling and rebleeding, but those were far and few in between.

Depends on the road, but I usually am in the 2000-4000RPM range.

I keep the revs up much higher than Froggy. I'm in the 5-7k range.

As such, I rarely if ever get out of 3rd gear on the street.

By flickering I mean the needle light flashes on and off a few times and then goes back to normal.

The times this has occured with the speedo going to 0 I was stopped at an extended redlight and then once I start going the speedo says 0 for about 15 seconds.

It has occured twice out of three rides.

the needle flashes because the computer thinks it's in neutral with no speed signal. sitting in neutral it flashes at 5k rpm.

The needle will light up at redline, or at 5k if the engine is cold or you are in neutral/clutch. That part is normal.

Vehicle Speed Sensor it is. : )
