I got a friend who has a groin hernia so I call him Kenny 3Balls. My riding got sidelined for a bit. I thought I escaped softball but got asked to work with the local team going to regionals to fine tune fielding and batting. I am truly flattered and honored but kinda torn since it runs through the end June and I'm gonna miss some good riding. |

Got to take the youngest daughter to the pond today and she hammered the Largemouth. I think she'd give some people a run for their money casting so she must take after her daddy. She decided to name her rod Lucky Louie. Proud Papa right here boys. |

Thanks Charlie! Hope you had a good one as well. Didn't do too much. Me and the kids went snake hunting and then watched some scary movies which suited me just fine. Nuts, Give me your Paypal address so I can get you the funds out for the mountain bike gathering dust in your garage |

Thanks for the help Nuts! Done deal. I went for the Trance and am, for the most part, pleased. Its an ugly ass white and red which kinda sucks but, its pretty freakin' plush which is what really mattered. Thanks again buddy |

Nuts, now you have hit on some of the most fun I've ever had on two wheels. A Trials bike is the "bomb". Riding that thing will make you think you have a lot more talent than you ever thought you had. But it is sooo addictive. STAY AWAY from trying to climb rocks with it.You and the bike will get seriously hurt.Other than that....enjoy the h3ll out of it. |

Charlie, I hear ya with the talent thing. I bought a 2001 Scorpa, it has a Yamaha 250 2stroke engine. First 2 smoke I've ever owned and the manual says to mix at 80:1 Previous owner ran it at 50:1 and all the moto guys run 32:1 whatcha think? It sure is a lot of fun and doesn't tear up the yard! I gave $1700 for it and feel like I ripped the guy off. Here's to hoping the bottom end doesn't drop out. NUTS |

Nuts, whatever you do.....keep this bike. It will put a smile on your face every time, even when your having a terrible day. My choice of two stroke oil is Maxima Caster 927...best I've seen. I mix 4 oz. to a gal.(32-1)but for a trials bike I'd go a little higher. A thing to remember....the more oil you use the leaner you are running your engine. Assuming the person that had the bike, had it jetted for his ratio so check with him. Keep your fluids(trans. and clutch) fresh.Air cooled eng. get hot and your not passing much air with a Trials bike. Don't ride it fast....it's not made for that. They are fun in the woods and climbing creek banks...no jumps. I am really envious right now. |

Thanks Charlie, It's liquid cooled with an electric fan. Just in from a short ride around the house. I built some log crossings this afternoon and was NUTS enough to clean one several times. The other is going to take a few days worth of gumption. I keep eyeballing the creek out front too; I know I can get across it. I'd rather not bottom out the shock in the process(did that once yesterday.) Off to work tomorrow but I'll be back on the bike Tuesday. I've got The-Raven coming over Wednesday to give it a go. I bet he likes it! |

The Raven is going to be drooling....I didn't know they were water cooled..that's great...The one I was using was a 1972 350 Bultaco Sherpa T...strickly air cooled.Probably a good bit heavier than yours, but what a blast. |

The_raven invited himself over Sunday to play on the Scorpa. I think he liked the intro he got on Wednesday. The creek has been jumped and climbed and wheelied through. 180 wheelies have been attempted, bunny hops successful. Photo proof next time. On the way up the driveway I was riding a cracker of a wheelie. So good that I forgot to put the wheel back on the deck before running into the wall! Sore shoulder and bruised knee. I need to keep this thing in the grass. Hope to be back on it Wednesday. NUTS |

Jaxson, I am very impressed that a man your age and medical issues can still muster the courage to attempt such a feat knowing very well...........the ridicule you would suffer if you failed.(there were witnesses right)And I assume all your style points were accrued on the way DOWN the mountain. |
