Well I have started to get the new to me S1W sorted out, had to rebuild the carb as someone had made a mess of it. Changed all fluids, New fork seals and oil, new front rotor and pads front and rear. Adjusted shocks checked tire pressures and went over everything I could think of, So it was off to Cook's Corner in Santiago canyon. But first a quick hop on the freeway of about 15 or so miles, I really don't know if my butt dyno really can tell but man does this thing move, Seems a bit more than the S1 I have. I really had to watch myself as it jumps up to the 100 mph mark really quick and feels as if it would go beyond very easy, I let off at that point. When I got to the canyon roads I was really happy with the way it handles, Feels solid and predictable. Now I just need to figure out the drip I have coming from what seems to be the primary side??? I hope it's just the gasket, The heads and base gaskets look dry. But I tell ya these S1's are so much fun to ride, Thanks to my brother for talking me into the Buell family.
