I really don't think you can just bolt one on, You will need to redo the engine from the cases up to take advantage of a turbo. |

No one made a "kit" for a fuel injected Buell. You would need to build your own. Need a ball bearing turbo as oiling from a ball bearing motor--your Buell----does not have needed pressure for plain bearing turbo. Need a sealed plenum, a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator and better fuel pump, and most importantly, some way to add fuel under boost. It can all be done. |

Just Mucho $$$$$$$$$$$$ Right Jim? Did you sell the bike? Maybe this guy would be happy with the power it would make. |

S-1 would be easier as it is carbed. Aerocharger made kits for these bikes. Had one on an S-2.Worked great. Turboes and fuel injection work great---- if you have a way to add fuel under boost. Currently using a Tuneboy piggyback with 3 bar MAP sensor on my 750 but looking to get a 08/09 1000 ecu set-up as it has boost based maps already in it. |

Need an external fuel pump--Summit Racing sells good ones,I used an MSD IIRC, and a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator--again Summit, Aeromotive makes good one, a ball bearing turbo cuz your Buell is a BB motor and has low oil pressure, a nice sealed plenum to blow into. I actually have an exhaust system I will sell you cheap, was on the S-2 I was building. Might need modifiying some but was for turbo mounted in front of motor. You can plumb the return side of turbo oil to your scavenge off oil pump. Then you need to decide on how much boost as that will affect compression ratio and need for intercooler.Fueling under boost will need a "piggyback" set-up, Tuneboy makes one and there are others out there,or build your own like the car guys do. And then get fabricating. |
