Kilroy - Noticed we both did the same treatment to the wheels (you still have your M2?). As I remember a whole lot of work and mess to strip the black off the rims...but well worth the effort! |

S3? At the time I could only locate an X1 and M2 used, local, and at a decent price (and in good shape). So I got the M2. Have always been happy with the decision. |

Not BASHIN ya Bro ! The M2 is the best , for me anyway .Would rather see it like that than all choppered up . Thinking of blackin the wheels and leaving the polished edges on mine . Just hate to do it just to strip it back off again . |

+1 on the choppered up! I could restore to stock in one evening. Mine was a repo from HD, I bought in 2003 for $3000 with 3000 miles on it. My wheels were black, thick baked on paint? Took much stripper, elbow grease and whiskey to get to the shiny stuff! |

GREAT DEAL ! paid the same with 9000 mls, The cast aluminum is a little rough , may take to my friend and have them bead blasted if I dont like the paint . Beer goes much better with the sweat n teers |
