Just a quick shout out to Al and the gang at American Sport Bike. I ordered a hand full of "look good" parts which he had in stock and got to me the next day. This is why I will always hit his shop first in my search for parts.

I am right there with you. I always have to call in orders during work hours and they are always on top of things. They definitely got a repeat customer. So thanks badweatherbikers for introducing them and thanks American sportbike for top notch service. |

I've always had good experiences with them while ordering parts for my old xb9r and will continue to go with asb for any parts for my cr. Now all I have to do is get money back in the bank so I can spend it all again haha |

I must be really lucky then, it's only a 15 minute ride for me to go there.......that is kind of a bad thing though, end up buying a ton more stuff each time. Meant to only buy an HID kit, ended up spending several hundred more dollars that day, but i'm glad i did, the bike looks awesome now. And it's always nice to see what projects Al is up to, and it usually gives me ideas for my own. |

Thanks for the props, folks. We've always tried to keep the stuff that we advertise in stock. But I gotta say, it's been a real challenge of late, and I'm not doing as good a job of it as I used to. Fact is, my stocking and consumption models are way out of whack these days. Buell dealers all across the country have shut down, and OEM parts are becoming the mainstay of the biz these days. It used to be sufficient to re-order a part like a shift pedal or clutch lever when I was down to the last few, and they new ones would come in before the next customer order came in. But now, I might go a week without selling one, and then sell 5 in two days. I've been making stocking quantity adjustments to compensate, but it's hardly dialed in. There are similar problems going on at the factory level. I'm running into more backorders with fulfillment on my parts orders, which screws with the timing of my restocking orders. In a perfect world, I'd have a much larger warehouse and a much larger on-hand inventory and backorders wouldn't occur as much, but at this time, neither is likely to occur given that Buell parts supply is not exactly a growth industry Bottom line, I'll continue to try to improve our stocking/fulfillment models and try to reduce the number of backorders that we have. But some are inevitable. We'll keep trying to keep you guys on the road quickly. Al |

There's a continuing Buell tuber thread over on ADVrider. A couple of the guys had no clue where to find aftermarket parts for their recently-aquired tubers so I sent them your way. It's nice to know someone I can recommend without any hesitation. |
